Check valve is a valve that opens when the pipeline system flows downstream and closes when the pipeline system flows upstream. It is mainly used to prevent the backflow of the medium, the reversal of the pump and the drive motor, and the leakage of the medium in the container.

The common check valves are lift check valves and swing check valves. These two types of check valves are also the most commonly used in China;
The so-called lift check valve means that the valve disc moves up and down relative to the valve seat. The common lift check valves are straight-through (also called horizontal) lift check valves and vertical lift check valves (the bottom valve of the water pump suction pipeline generally uses a vertical lift check valve);
Lift check valves are divided into straight-through (also called horizontal), vertical and angle types, and there is no straight-through, vertical and angle type for swing check valves.
Installation:
Straight-through lift check valves can only be installed on horizontal pipes (the direction should be determined by the fluid direction. Generally, when we write the system operation guidelines, we need to indicate the correct direction. It needs to be checked during debugging). Vertical lift check valves can only be installed on vertical pipes (the direction must be correct). Swing check valves can be installed on horizontal, vertical, and inclined pipes, but they are generally installed on horizontal pipes. If installed on vertical pipes, the fluid should flow from bottom to top.
